In the new year 2016 meetings, organized by Youmore Morcelli Giovani at Provincial Educational Centre Zanardelli of Chiari as information desk of European initiatives planned for young people as part of the Erasmus Plus platform, are going on. On Friday, January 22, at the school on the street Trinità about forty students of third and fourth classes of the CFP gathered at the meeting coordinated by the project manager of Youmore Morcelli Giovani Justina Krauledaitè.
“The theme of InfoDay at the CFP of Chiari – said Justina Krauledaitè – related in particular to international youth exchanges implemented in 2015 by our Eurodesk Agency. At this meeting participated also youngsters who have recently come back from a youth exchange which took place in Zakopane, Poland, from 17 to 26 November. The presentation of transnational mobility initiatives promoted by Youmore Morcelli Giovani allowed students of the CFP to understand what the youth exchanges are, what opportunities they offer, for whom the participation is open and more importantly how you can join. The multimedia supports, the photographic material and dépliant have raised the attention of students, but it was mainly the contribution of young people, who have already lived this experience, to arouse the curiosity and questions from the audience.
Students, coordinated by Prof. Laura Saviori, wanted to know at length the costs of our initiatives and procedures for reimbursement which depends on the activities from 80% to 100% of total travel costs with total covering the costs of food and accommodation. The conversation with our “experts” Giovanni Calvetti from Chiari, Chiara Baitelli from Rudiano and Martina Mezzasalma from Castelcovati also concerned the opportunity to make new friends abroad dispelling prejudices often resulting from lack of knowledge and openness to other European peers. Other young people who have already made this experience of exchanges abroad could not to be present because they already engage in study or in work in Europe being resulted by their own experience of training courses or youth exchanges promoted by Youmore Morcelli Giovani. The next InfoDay4 at the CFP of Chiari is scheduled on February 19, but, given the interest and participation among young people, we are preparing a calendar that would also involve other schools in Chiari and over its territory “.
