IT WAS AMAZING

 

Amazing: surprising, astonishing, stunning, astounding.

Was it waiting for me? Who are the people I am supposed to share this trip with? Will I find anything good to eat? Should I actually share my room with a stranger? And a bathroom with 25 people who I don’t know? Will I be able to communicate? These are questions we started our trip with.

When are we going? This was the only question on our minds before the trip.

A thing that happened in the middle is a wonderful story, and we thank Youmore Morcelli Giovani for promoting projects addressing young people in the field of the  ErasmusPlus community programme completely funded by European Commission. Continue reading

Volunteering as an example of strengthening

23022999_1749087535126134_927401044_oThe training course “Volunteer boost” organized by NGO Brno for you z.s. took place from 6th to 14th October, in Bartošovice, Czech Republic. Participants came from Slovakia, Romania, Czech Republic, Sweden, Bulgaria, Portugal, Greece, Poland, and Italy. This project was co-funded by the European Union under the frame of the Erasmus+ programme. The project covered themes such as volunteering and volunteers’ management and coordination. It included activities and exercises focused on topics as getting the organization ready to host a volunteer, induction, and training of volunteers, conflict management, and evaluation procedures. During the week, the participants also exchanged information about their countries, explored the similarities as well as the differences between them and shared experience within the area of their expertise.

Youth Exchange of 7 days in the Czech Republic

October 10 – 17 five students from Chiari high school “Einaudi” with their teacher Marina Valotti had the opportunity to travel abroad. They joined the project BETA “Bringing Europe Together through Art”. The art was a key-word of this meeting and a union of European cultures. The event was held in the Czech Republic in a small town Radikov close to Olomouc. There were presented youngsters from Serbia, Turkey, Portugal and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The program Erasmus Plus is oriented on young people between 15 and 30 years who have some knowledge of English, because this language is the only one which is used during activities. “Quality in non-formal learning for youth workers”

From 17 to 24 July Youmore Morcelli Giovani will host a training course “Quality in non-formal learning for youth workers”, an educational project in English included in the Erasmus Plus platform for young trainers, animators and assistants through a new pedagogical method of non-formal education. The project is coordinated by Youmore Morcelli Giovani staff, two trainers from Macedonia and a project manager Sona Arevshatyan. Twenty youngsters over 18 from 7 different countries: Macedonia, Lithuania, Italy, Czech Republic, Malta, Bulgaria and Spain will gather at Youth Center 2000 of Chiari. Continue reading

InfoDay and Training Day Erasmus+ in Chiari with Youmore May 17

On Tuesday, May 17 at CG 2000 on Tagliata Street 2 it was held a Training Day for teachers organized by the Eurodesk  Agency of Chiari,  Youmore Morcelli Giovani, in cooperation with the National Agency Erasmus Plus Indire – National Institute for Documentation , Innovation and Educational Research , the oldest institution of the Ministry of Education. Youmore – Eurodesk Agency for youth training projects

The Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano-Youmore Morcelli Giovani accredited in the EVS – European Voluntary Service of Erasmus +

          The Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano, through Youmore Morcelli Giovani, was officially accredited on Thursday, June 25. It was qualified as a sending, receiving and coordinating organization for the European Voluntary Service of Erasmus Plus. On July 25 the National Youth Agency has published the results of requests for accreditation approved by the Evaluation Committee from the last June 18 that it has selected 39 organizations among 54 received proposals. Youth orientation. The Eurodesk Agency Youmore Morcelli Giovani launch pad for young people to Europe

         During the summer season the educational team Youmore Morcelli Giovani organizes periodical meetings in the office on the street San Sebastiano, 1 – open from Monday to Friday from 16.00 to 18.00 – to promote initiatives of youth ORIENTATION and explain the new projects of transnational exchange in Europe.

       “From March to June – said the project manager Sona Arevshatyan – we have involved, in addition to our established customer base from Chiari, nine other young people from the area of Brescia and in particular from Valle Camonica. The contacts and regular updating take place through the mailing list of Youmore Morcelli Giovani and by the way our Facebook page is a kind of virtual marketplace that functions as an online meeting place of sharing experience. Training Course “Newcomers in Erasmus Plus – Preparing for Quality Mobility Projects” organized by Youmore Morcelli Giovani at CG 2000 Chiari, April 19th to 26th

training course       All it needed was a week to test the excellent level of preparation of the first training course supervised by the educational team of Youmore Morcelli Giovani – Local Eurodesk Agency – on “Newcomers in Erasmus Plus – Preparing for Quality Mobility Projects”, a project which was held at the CG2000, 2nd Via Tagliata, Chiari during April 19th to 26th, with 100% reimbursement of travel expenses for its participants. The eighteen international participants – two from Romania, five from Macedonia, including the two trainers, two from Croatia, one from Belgium, one from Poland and two from Bulgaria teamed up with the Italian representatives, Lucia Bulgarelli of Rovigo and Davide Bianchini of Pesaro, and were coordinated by Youmore Morcelli Giovani’s Project Managers, Sona   Arevshatyan, JustinaKrauledaitė and Uliana Bychkova.
