From Malaga to Chiari as EVS volunteer in Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano

Hello,

My name is Jorge Huéscar, and right now I am an EVS volunteer in Chiari in Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano. I am 26 years old from Malaga (Spain) where I graduated for a degree in economics. SVEFor the last few years I have participated in a few youth exchanges, and in my home town I founded one little organization “PIN Malaga” to provide information to young people about new opportunities for youngsters. I’ve already participated in 2 exchanges in Italy: in Puglia and in Sicily. To broad my horizons and to get a new experience I decided to take a part in EVS project in Chiari in Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano. Since my arrival day I’ve discovered many activities like being assistant in Ludoteca, giving a hand in organizing Bandfest by CG2000 and participating in Eurodesk Agency of Chiari, whose main idea is implementation of new youth projects. I’ve got some Italian lessons for foreigners at school and I improve my language skill day by day. I discover the reality of Chiari and I’ve already managed to make new friendships. Alex and I would like to thank everybody who helped us to settle and make our accommodation more comfortable.

The pioneer on two wheels: from Russia to Chiari as EVS volunteer in Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano

Hello,

I am Alex Barybin, 22 years old guy from Russian city Sergiev Posad, ludowhich is the capital of Russian orthodoxy. I graduated from Moscow State Humanitarian university – psychology department. During my studying at university, I started my volunteering work. Firstly, I participated in local horse-club, where I worked as hippotherapist’s assistant. We helped small children who had different disabilities. After that I was selected to be a volunteer in Paralympic Games in Sochi 2014. Also I’ve been to Italy two times before. I was in Terracina (Lazio) and this city is a twin for my home Russian one. In summer 2015 I was involved in the workcamp in Sweden – Storholmen Viking village, where I worked in an open museum about Viking age. And now I am very glad to be an EVS volunteer in Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano, where I started my activity from 1st March. Here I work in Ludoteca with children from elementary schools. Also I have some office activities in Youmore Morcelli Giovani, where we search and create new project to increase European mobility. I visit Italian language course for foreigners. Furthermore I’ve decided to explore close villages and towns and I have already visited Castelcovati, Palazzolo and last weekend I checked Dello! I even draw a map of the region and marked special places which I want to visit. I really enjoy riding around picturesque views of Italy, and for me it’s also the way to meet new people and feel Italian mentality.
