Role: EVS volunteer
My name is Sandra Denkovska. I’m 28 years old. I’m from Macedonia. I graduated from University of Skopje and there I studied Italian language and literature. I am a teacher of Italian and Spanish in my town, Kumanovo. I worked at private schools and in a High School there. I like to speak foreign languages. I speak also English, German, Serbian, Croatian and Bulgarian.
Last year I participated in a Youth Exchange «I Feel Free Creative Legality» in Sicily. After that I started to search EVS projects because I wanted to work with children in Italy. Then my friend Dragana Jovanovska from the Agency CID- Center for Intercultural Dialogue from Kumanovo proposed me an EVS project in Chiari that would be for two months, from June to August which I accepted immediately. In June I arrived as EVS volunteer at Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano. Now I participate in Grest and two times a week I work in Casa di Alice with children from 12 to 36 months.
I like working with children; I’m tolerant and patient with them. I’m also happy because I have an opportunity to be a volunteer in Italy. I think that Italy is an excellent place for voluntary work. I would like to learn more about Italian language, culture and history.
