On Saturday 28 May from 14:00 to 17:00 the Eurodesk Agency of Chiari, Youmore Morcelli Giovani, organized the event in the park Villa Mazzotti dedicated to celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the EVS foundation (European Voluntary Service) that acts on international level thanks to the European Commission in order to allow young people aged between 17 and 30 years to have voluntary experience in public entities or organizations in Europe and countries from the Euro Mediterranean area and Caucasus in a period ranging from 2 weeks to 12 months as an opportunity to get in touch with different cultures and to learn new skills for professional growth with reimbursement of travel costs, costs for accommodation and food.
This event, which was coordinated by the project managers of Youmore Morcelli Giovani Sona Arevshatyan, Uliana Bychkova and Justina Krauledaité, hosted about thirty EVS volunteers that came from Cremona, Milan and Alexandria who have already participated in projects like youth exchanges and training courses organized under the Erasmus Plus platform. At the event there were also present actual EVS volunteers from the Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano, Huéscar Jorge Aguilar from Spain and Alex Barybin from Russia and other two EVS volunteers from CG2000 of Chiari: Tania Santiago from Spain and Eszter Szabadi from Hungary. As guests at the event arrived also Giulia Marullo from Castelcovati , the YouthWorker of Youmore Morcelli Giovani, who is currently doing her EVS project in Tallin, Estonia thanks to the Eurodesk Agency of Chiari, and Martina Mezzasalma who is looking forward to leaving for an EVS project in autumn in Lithuania. Both girls were accompanied by the Mayor of Castelcovati, Camilla Gritti , who participated with interest in the event devoted to celebrating the twentieth anniversary of EVS. All guys participated in collective games and in a photo shoot organized by the staff of Youmore and at the end all of them received theme gadgets provided by ANG, the National Agency for Youngsters, so as to remember the twentieth anniversary of EVS.
