Sometimes your life can change, other times can’t happen, It’s only the beginning of new travel in which you don’t know where you will arrive.
In Potsdam, city really close to Berlin, we spent an fantastic time. The trainer, Eggert, was an funny and willing man, his features were more Italian then german, who can surprise you every time. I was really lucky to exchange my A.I.A football referee t-shirts with Eggert’s son.
During the TC there were opportunity to learn, fun and culture time. In the firstly days we played “Break ice game”. We presented ourselves with focus in our “alter ego”. We discovered “IceMan”, ”Cesar”, morituri te salute, Joy, Cleydermann, Oro, Angie, just to mention some examples. The theater was a great artistic expression, we watched a documentary about dictatorship in Belarus, who repress any artistic expression contrary to the regime. Our exhibition in the heart of the Christmas Market in Potsdam, the actors were Katerina from Serbia, a workers discriminated for the piercing and red hair,Irmak from Turkey, Tiffen from France, George from Bulgaria, cruel and intransigent recruiter. The exhibition showed the alienation of the employees, like the movie (Modern Times) and a discrimination in the selection step that doesn’t bear tattoos, beard and long hair for the man.
Roberto PotsdamThe sightseeing of 1 day in Berlin was splendid, by the guide and narrator Eggert. We take in the sights Brandeburger Tor, we continued with Commemoration Sites, Alexander Platz, Rotes Rathaus and the amazing Fernesthurm, the tallest place in Europe. The nights in Berlin finished with couple dancing like Salsa and Cia Cia. The young older Fonsie from Malta and Eggert, participants over 50,showed their dance ability. We presented our Nation in different way, randomly one participant tried to describe the nation of the other participant. It was really successful.
In the last night we played very interested game each of the participants elaborate one concept, phrase, word, emoction regard to the other travel friends. Really emotional was the ”heart game” introduced by Jenny from Croatia. With suffused light and oriental sound, we touched with our left hand the heart of the participant in front of us,our gaze were in the gaze of each other.
