On Tuesday, May 17 at CG 2000 on Tagliata Street 2 it was held a Training Day for teachers organized by the Eurodesk Agency of Chiari, Youmore Morcelli Giovani, in cooperation with the National Agency Erasmus Plus Indire – National Institute for Documentation , Innovation and Educational Research , the oldest institution of the Ministry of Education.
Fifty teachers of secondary schools from Lombardy and Piedmont took part in the meeting organized by the project managers of Youmore Morcelli Giovani Sona Arevshatyan, Uliana Bychkova and Justina Krauledaité in presence of assessor of Youth Policies of Chiari Laura Capitanio. For the occasion, there was present the regional manager e-Twinning of Regional School Office of Lombardy, Paola Martini. «I thank to colleague – teachers for the large presence at this training workshop that allows them to enter in direct contact with networks and active organizations in the area of European Youth Mobility – said Paola Martini – Knowing faces, people and reality structured and engaged in European youth exchange program, all of this is very important for a teacher to plan the initiatives for the next school year. The training for teachers is a prerequisite to motivate young people and to coordinate better the youth orientation within each class; it is crucial to know that there are educational agencies that can support the work of teachers in the European dimension “.
The objective of the training day, through the illustration of the European program Erasmus Plus, is to identify the collaboration with other teachers, new actors and beneficiaries of transnational youth mobility and to raise awareness of the funding arrangements within the e-Twinning platform that ensures the European mobility opportunities for teachers and opportunities for cooperation with strategic partnerships. “We found an excellent response to this first training seminar organized by the Eurodesk Agency of Chiari – said Sona Arevshatyan, coordinator of Youmore Morcelli Giovani – Numerous participation of teaches from secondary schools of the area provides us the further opportunities to develop the national and international programs that we organize with youngsters abroad like youth exchanges, training courses and different stages at European level”.
