New barmen are formed by Intrabar Academy thanks to Youmore

The new barman course has finished. This course was promoted by Youmore Morcelli Giovani in collaboration with Itrabar (Capriolo-Assossiation Barman Franciacorta). There were registered seven students (over 16) from Chiari and around. Lessons were held every Monday from 20.30 to 23.00 in DreamBar of Centro Giovanile 2000 at Tagliata Street. The activity was started on 22^d February, when the students were introduced to professor Diego Bellaccomo and the project coordinator – Uliana Bychkova.

The program was written for base level and included 10 lessons, which had both theory and practice. During the lessons the students had a possibility to learn different methods (American and Italian) of preparing coffee, drinks, liquor, fruit juice and syrup. The participants were taught how to control proportions and measuring of the cocktails. Every lesson had an individual part, where the student could familiarize with the equipment and barman’s rules, also degust different beers and wines which produced by local breweries and wine factories. Now the base-course learners are looking for their final exam 16 May, when a jury will taste and evaluate their skills in learned techniques. But firstly, students must pass a writing test, which demonstrates their knowledge. Participants and their teacher Diego Bellaccomo also formed a special WhatsApp group where they can contact their professor and exchange the new ideas. With so big enthusiasm those 7 students visited DreamBar to get new professional competences.

Since 2008 Intrabar Academy Assosiation has already provided professional education to other 500 youngsters in collaboration with hotel business and CFP Canossa di Bagnolo Mella, whose main goal is developing the opportunities for young people. In October there will be held a new barman course at Centro Giovanile 2000.
