In the Wednesday evening, 3rd of June, there was the awarding of s of attendance of language courses: English and Russian for adults organized by Youmore Morcelli Giovani from March till the end of May. Fifteen students have followed, in total, twelve lessons, one per week, of English – basic level of grammar and advanced level of conversation – with teachers Sona Arevshatyan and Justina Krauledaitė and Russian with the native speaker Uliana Bychkova. “We proposed to our students a specific test to find out their level of learning languages at the end of the course – said Professor Uliana Bychkova – It was useful to know their comments and observations.
We felt the high interest in our courses by citizens of Chiari and its districts and we were satisfied by the number of members and constancy of attendance. Grammar skills acquired during the courses achieved an acceptable fluency, while the vivacity of conversation lessons had a pleasing harmony in different groups. Some perplexity has arisen in the course of Russian since, unlike of English, we started with the alphabet and the main grammar rules, certainly rather complex. In this regard, students who didn`t manage to assimilate the various offered content – but, perhaps, it would be possible with a little more effort in the study … !!! – They have already confirmed their presence in the new Russian course in September and they even advised us to anticipate the initiative of language courses for adults and increase the number of lessons per week.” The teachers were evaluated very positively by students for their innovative method that made lessons particularly useful for those who use English and Russian also in the workplace.
In September, it is expected to start new courses of English and Russian for adults with Youmore Morcelli Giovani. The positive results have urged the educational team of Youmore Morcelli Giovani to start new courses of foreign languages, not only for adults but also for children from secondary and elementary schools. Stay tuned!
